Peter Sandona

Hello, I’m Pete, a licensed associate therapist with a deep belief in the power of adaptability and openness. I approach therapy from the perspective that life is ever-changing, and the ability to embrace these shifts is key to personal growth and resilience. I encourage clients to remain open-minded and explore new possibilities, as I believe that rigidity in thought and life can lead to stagnation. My goal is to help you become more adaptable, allowing for growth, healing, and a greater sense of well-being, especially during life's challenges. I pride myself on creating a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel supported and heard. I work with each person’s unique needs, bringing curiosity and understanding into every session. Clients have described me as grounding, knowledgeable, and kind. In our work together, I will lovingly challenge you to shift perspectives, grow emotionally, and make meaningful changes that bring you closer to achieving your goals. I take great joy in being a companion on your journey of self-awareness and transformation, and I find immense fulfillment in those “Ah-ha!” moments when a new understanding emerges. I specialize in working with youth, adolescents, and their families. It’s a true privilege to help young people navigate their developing identities and explore the complexities of life, reality, and their own sense of self. I don’t believe in providing all the answers but in asking the right questions that empower clients to develop emotional resilience, self-confidence, and a strong sense of who they are. I am passionate about supporting families through this transformative stage and helping them build stronger connections and understanding. Originally from the Midwest, I’ve called the Pacific Northwest home for many years, where the mountains, oceans, and rainforests provide endless inspiration. Outside of therapy, I am a musician who enjoys playing bass and guitar, and I am a passionate animal lover with three dogs who occasionally join our sessions. I also enjoy humor and believe in its therapeutic power. I look forward to the opportunity to walk alongside you on your journey, learning about your unique hopes, dreams, and challenges, and helping you navigate the path toward healing and self-discovery.
